It has a bedroom partitioned off with a kingsize bed and bathroom with shower.
There is a lounge, dining and kitchenette area with an open wood burning fireplace, perfect for chilly winter days.
The studio is ideal for a couple.
If you want to bring friends or the kids, add on the adjacent cottage. The cottage has a kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom with free-standing bath tub and shower and lounge area.
The studio has TV, SKY and an ipod dock.
In summer if you want to put up a tent for the kids there is plenty of room in the private orchard area and there is no extra fee.
There are stunning views of the Matakana Coast and Kawau Bay to the south and Mount Tamahunga to the north.
On the private and secluded north side deck is an outdoor wood fireplace, outdoor furniture and a spa bath, all affording wonderful sunset views and star gazing, or to soak up some rays during the day.

The kitchenette has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, gas hob, electric pizza cooker, kettle and toaster.
There is a BBQ and guests are welcome to use the wood fired pizza oven at Koru House.
Hairdryers, iron and ironing board are available as is use of the large washing machine, dryer and airing rack.
Owners Brian and Lindsay are both artists and much of the interior and furniture is Brian's meticulously detailed work.
Original and reproduction art by Lindsay Scott - widely regarded as one of the world's preeminent wildlife artists - and some of her friends, Adele Earnshaw from Opua and Joe Garcia from San Diego, California will be on rotating display in Koru House and Hideaway.
